STULZ HQ: Congratulations on your new position as Managing Director of STULZ ASIA HUB! How were the first weeks for you, have you arrived?

Patric Lee: Thank you very much. Upon assuming this new role, I had the opportunity to meet in-person with line manager Tobias Focke. Several intensive meetings and discussions were held internally regarding the STULZ ASIA HUB business models and strategies that propel STULZ ASIA HUB‘s vision towards future endeavours. With the business models and strategies, we identified the priorities with our inital lean resources to tackle overwhelming new enquiries and to onboard our Asia subsidairies & partners of STULZ ASIA HUB function and support to them. STULZ HQ: What have you done professionally so far? Patric Lee: Having been a part of the STULZ team since December 2022, my areas of expertise are geared towards management of System Integrators and Design & Consultancy for data centre infrastructure in the Asia region. I believe the experience and skills I have harnessed are crucial in helping me to overcome future challenges across various fields and provide me with the credibility to direct my own team of colleagues in STULZ ASIA HUB.

STULZ HQ: What have you done professionally so far?

Patric Lee: Having been a part of the STULZ team since December 2022, my areas of expertise are geared towards management of System Integrators and Design & Consultancy for data centre infrastructure in the Asia region. I believe the experience and skills I have harnessed are crucial in helping me to overcome future challenges across various fields and provide me with the credibility to direct my own team of colleagues in STULZ ASIA HUB.

STULZ HQ: What are the first issues you would like to tackle at STULZ ASIA HUB?

Patric Lee: STULZ ASIA HUB is touted as a prominent business unit that spearheads the market growth for Colo/ Data Centres in the Asian region. My aim is to broaden our company’s exposure to potential clients in Asia by meeting and equipping them with knowledge regarding our roles and offerings. A streamlined business model is vital, thereby prompting my desire to prepare and align with the head office on a the business case and allocate resources efficiently to support subsidiaries and partners accross Asia. I also plan on managing the forecasts and upcoming project lists to facilitate better coordination with factories so that the processes of each business unit can be monitored and controlled more effectively.

STULZ HQ: What role does STULZ Singapore play in this?

Patric Lee: The STULZ Singapore plays the role as the subsidiary of our parent flagship company STULZ Hamburg. Stulz Singapore focus is mainly targetted towards the domestic market where they work alongside STULZ ASIA HUB’s key accounts manager for projects commencing in Singapore.

STULZ HQ: What other markets do you want to develop?

Patric Lee: I would like to boost the development of emerging markets such as containerised DC products and high-demand markets such as Edge Computing products. With the digital age in full swing, it is vital that we innovate solutions with the help and resources that we possess at STULZ group.

STULZ HQ: What are your long-term goals for shaping the future of STULZ Asia/ Strategic direction?

Patric Lee: With the conceptualisation of our headquarters in Asia, I seek to improve the networking speed of our services across Asian countries to capitalize the emerging market of local and Eastern Key Accounts. Having said, to enter new market segment like the Enterprise, Industrial, Oil & Gas and increase market share to minimise the overall risk on just Hyperscalers. I hope that our increased support and engagement with our Asian customers will project great success and expand the benefits of what STULZ ASIA HUB has to offer in terms of response time to our customers and their Eco System. In the long term, our objectives are to help secure & increase existing maket shares and support in new segment with the relevant products to meet the goal of a well-balance business risk management with diversification into more new Key Accounts.
