Regional Account Manager (Singapore / Asia Region)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Regional Account Manager to act as the main contact point for existing key accounts while developing new accounts across the APAC region. This role is a customer-facing, technically oriented key account position with a strong emphasis on relationship management, technical-commercial consulting, and account development. The Regional Account Manager represents STULZ towards key customers and requires close cooperation with consultants, ensuring technical compliance, solution alignment, and long-term partnership development. Working closely with our local Sales teams, our factories and our global Key Account team, strong intercultural communication and collaboration skills are of the essence. Regular interaction with customers, consultants, and internal stakeholders across APAC, as well as regional travel, is an integral part of this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the main point of contact for assigned strategic key accounts across the APAC region.
- Build, maintain and grow long-term relationships with senior customer stakeholders and data centre consultants, positioning STULZ as a trusted technical partner.
- Lead technical and system discussions, ensuring solution feasibility, compliance, and alignment with customer requirements.
- Oversee the development of product selections, feasibility studies, system concepts, and TCO evaluations in collaboration with Application Engineering teams.
- Review customer specifications and ensure accurate preparation of compliance statements, deviations, and exception justifications.
- Coordinate technical input and communication between customers, consultants, sales, application engineering, and project management teams. •
- Capture and share customer feedback, market insights, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement within the regional and global STULZ network.
- Identify growth opportunities at the customer level and proactively engage key stakeholders within their organisations
- Technical scope covers, at a minimum, the following data centre systems:
    o    Air Handling Units (AHU)
    o    CRAH / CRAC units
    o    Chillers
    o    Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Willingness to travel regularly within the APAC region.

Education / Experience

- Strong technical and commercial credibility, with the ability to influence senior customer and consultant stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing large, strategically important accounts in complex technical environments.
- Sales-oriented mindset combined with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach to balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and commercial objective

Regional Commissioning Engineer (Singapore / Asia Region)

Position Summary

The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing commissioning activities to ensure that systems and equipment are installed, tested, and operating in accordance with project specifications, design intent, and safety standards. This role supports project delivery by verifying system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth handovers to clients.  

The Commissioning Engineer works closely with project managers, contractors, consultants, and clients to develop commissioning plans, conduct inspections, witness testing, and prepare technical documentation. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic project environment.
 

Key Responsibilities

- Execution and leading the commissioning process across all projects.
- Management of commissioning process across various phases from start-up, designing, construction, acceptance, functional performance and systems testing to operational turnover.
- Conduct assessments of designs and projects to ensure that they meet the required specifications and standards within allotted timeline.
- Management of commissioning agents, contractors and suppliers and resolve any issues on site.
- Providing strategic directions and leadership in all activities in the project closeout and the handover into its operational phases.
- Providing a thorough and complete Commissioning Report for each project.

Education / Experience

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineer or related disciplines
- 3 years of experience in design management or commissioning management, preferably in the data centre field.
- Knowledge in data centers, mission critical design concepts, safety and industry standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster/manage relationships across multiple departments.

Regional Sales Engineer (Singapore or Kuala Lumpur / Asia Region)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Regional Sales Engineer to support and grow STULZ’s business across the Asia Pacific region, with a strong focus on sales enablement, channel support, and country- level business development. This role combines technical competence with a strong commercial mindset, serving as a key interface between regional sales channels, country teams, and internal technical resources. The Regional Sales Engineer will work closely with country sales teams, distributors, and partners to support opportunity development, solution positioning, and customer engagement, while keeping the end goal of revenue growth and market expansion in mind. The role involves frequent interaction with stakeholders across APAC and requires regular regional travel. Training will be provided, with hands-on exposure to STULZ products, systems, and sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Support regional and country sales teams in developing and closing sales opportunities across assigned APAC markets.
- Act as a technical and commercial interface between sales channels, customers, and internal engineering and factory teams.
- Assist sales teams in understanding customer requirements and positioning appropriate STULZ solutions in line with project and country needs.
- Support preparation of technical proposals, project costings, compliance documentation, and sales-related clarifications. 
- Participate in joint sales meetings, customer presentations, and channel partner engagements to support opportunity development.
- Coordinate with application engineers, product management, and factories to ensure feasible, competitive, and timely solutions.
- Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and country-level opportunities, providing structured feedback to regional management.
- Contribute market and customer insights from country engagements to support regional sales strategy and planning.
- Maintain a proactive, responsive, and collaborative approach when supporting multiple sales channels and stakeholders across the region.

Education / Experience

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to support both technical and commercial discussions.

Regional Technical Engineer (Singapore / Asia Region)

Position Summary

The Regional Technical Engineer plays a critical role in shaping and executing STULZ’s technical and product strategy across the Asia Pacific region. Acting as a key interface between global product management, engineering teams, manufacturing sites, and regional commercial organizations, this role ensures that STULZ’s cooling solutions are technically robust, market- relevant, and aligned with evolving customer and industry requirements. As a technical reference within the region, the role provides expert guidance to internal teams, strategic customers, consultants, and partners, while also contributing thought leadership through feasibility studies, technical publications, and industry engagement.

Key responsibilities

Regional Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management

- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with global product management application team(s) to assist in the development and execution of cooling solution strategies and roadmaps for Stulz portfolio diversification.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research on trends, competitor landscapes, and customer requirements across countries within the APAC region to influence global product development in emerging technologies.
- Commercial Execution: In collaboration with sales and marketing teams, define and implement regional go-to-market strategy, including pricing, promotional campaigns, product launches.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor product performance, including ‘share of wallet’, market size, using data and customer feedback to drive continuous product improvement while identifying new and innovative opportunities.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee end-of-life planning cycles and product retirement campaigns.

Global Collaboration & Engineering Support

- Internal Liaison: Participate in monthly product management and quarterly performance reviews, acting as the primary bridge between global product management and Stulz factories (China, India, Germany, Spain) to align strategies, best practices, and lessons learnt.
- Cross-Functional Development: Partner with global engineering and manufacturing teams to design and enhance products (AHUs, CRAHUs, Chillers, DCIM, software) that meet regional standards and customer needs.
- External Partnerships: Manage ODM/OEM relationships, including contract development opportunities, technical support, and joint development efforts to enable growth and diversification of the regional product portfolio for Stulz APAC
- Technical Expertise: Serve as a "go-to" expert for regional application engineers, key accounts team, consultants, and contractors as required from time to time. Leading technical discussions and ensuring compliance with complex project requirements.
- Thought Leadership: Conduct feasibility studies, develop white paper documents and industry engagement ‘interest pieces for industry publications.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop value-driven sales tools, collateral, technical training materials, and battle-cards for competitor analysis.


Education / Experience

- 5+ years’ product management experience, preferably within Data Centre, HVAC, or related engineering fields. 
- Deep technical understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration, hydraulics, controls, and sustainability standards. 
- Proven success in managing complex engineering products with long development cycles.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating technical details into clear business value.
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
- Minimum qualifications - bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related technical field; advanced degree or certifications.
- Strong communication skills in English; Mandarin is an advantage
